I'm still reading his Lightroom book! If his wish list is anything like his book, he's right on the money.

"I also like the Archiving to DVD on import idea a lot. Now I want it, too. "
I'd kill to be able to export everything in my files and my file to a disk backup with disk spanning.
Sit and watch the game and swap out a disk every 7 minutes. Perfect.

In earlier versions you could "Burn to disc". If you had more files than would fit on one disc it would prompt you to change discs. I was looking in my export options the other day and it was missing. WTF?

THe idea of the vignetting readjusting to align with a photo after cropping...yes!
I find it so annoying with the lens correction is biased to one side or the other

i also like this list.
the idea about editing caption right in the web module as opposed to having to edit meta data in the lirbary module

The thing is, Adobe is listening to him.

One thing I'd love to see kind of ties in with the addition of collection stacking.
Basically when exporting a folder or collection to JPG, having lightroom only export the most recent file in a stack. It's always a little cumbersome to have it export the unprocessed RAW as well as the processed PSD when clearly I don't care about the original file in this case.

I like the suggestions and agree with most. One thing I'd like would be the ability to add some permissions of hide a folder.

There is no man on the planet that would have more influence on Adobes' Photoshop than Scott Kelby. With his NAPP website, of which I belong, and books on PS and photography, he is the man.
And made a gizillion dollars to boot.

I'd say his list is dead nutz.

Some great suggestions there, I hope Adobe listen to someone as influential as Scott. The vignette one really annoys me, I hope they fix that.

I'd like a built-in panoramic feature so i dont have to go into PS and re-import it back to LR.

Mine says "burn full-sized jpeg's" and it brings up a window with the LR logo promting me to put in a disc to my dvd drive.

Has Adobe given any kind of indication of when they might release a version 2.0 of LR?
Kadath

No, but insiders have been hinting that they have had 2.0 Betas since at least October, so I wouldnt be shocked to hear big things at PMA, tho I wouldnt be shocked if it was spring either.
Will be interesting to see just what they come up with, obviously a lot of us who have been pushing for new features have been beating these drums since 1.0, but Scott has a visibility that none of us do, and I'm shocked he isnt on the Lr early access list that would prevent him from making a post like he has. I hope Adobe hits the VAST majority of his wants, but I'll be shocked if they actually hit a quarter of them in the next actual release.

Jpeg processed Look:
This is what DPP does with Canon's Photo Styles, I suspect other manufacturers have the same idea..
Adobe should incorporate the ability to read the Cameras image property settings.

What they need is an application called "Photoshop for Photographers". A separate Photoshop application that incorporates lightroom. This would allow you to use plugins and actions available to photoshop but also the digital workflow and output of lightroom. Either that or open LR up with an SDK so plugins and actions can be created like noise ninja or others.
While I agree his list is nice it doesn't make much sense because the whole point of Lightroom is a low cost way of having a good digital workflow for photographers. Now he wants features that are pushing it into the realm of photoshop. Would they be able to do at the same price point? I don't think I would if I was Adobe.

I'd love even more sharpening options -- along the lines of what CS3 already offers.

Search for empty keyword?
Click on the enitre Library or top folder so all of your shots are visible in grid view. Press CTRL + A to select all. Now, CTRL click on all the keywords in the keyword panel. Invert your selection and add it to the quickcollection by pressing B. Search accomplished. ;)

if even a quarter of these things are implemented into LR 2.0 I will be amazed, but very, VERY pleased. I love LR already, but with some of those improvements it would be absolutely amazing.
