The Situation:
High I have a Canon Ixus 430 and want to upload some images from my computer to my camera memory card so I can take the card to the shop to have the images printed.

The pictures are from my wedding and were taken by the photographer and burned onto CD. I then edited the images I wanted with Photoshop Elements 2.0 and tried to use the Canon ZoomBrowser EX Software to load the images from My Documents to the camera memory card, but got the following message.

"IMG_504 is an image not taken with a Canon camera, or was rotated or edited after being taken. This image cannot be viewerd in CameraWindow."

Does anyone know how I can transfer the images I have edited to my memory card?

Thanks in advance.

I'd just burn them back to a CD, and bring that to the photo lab.

You need to use a card reader to do it. Sounds like you have the camera hooked into the pc itself with a usb cable, can't do that.

how else would you hook it up if not with a usb cable?

If you have a separate USB card reader, you can remove the card from the camera and treat the card as if it was another drive on your computer. When you're using the camera and USB cable, you can only see the files in the standard \DCIM\ directory and its subdirectories, and the camera applies some "intelligence" to what can be transferred back and forth.

That makes sence. Thanks for taking the time to explain that to me!
