A guy my dad works with asked me and him to tag along to some handcycling time trials that he was competing in today. Was my first time photographing any track sport other than car racing so im hoping that over the next few weeks ill get a bit better.

Wasnt the best weather either, just as i got used to it being sunny, the sun would disappear behind a cloud for a few minutes and vice versa...

Most were taken with either my sigma 24-60 2.8 or the 10-20

Dont take this the wrong way...

But Im really amazed that those are from a Pentax! Did you shoot these raw and then convert? Ive always heard that Pentax cameras have horrible in-camera processing :-/

Adam, I think you'll find only #4 is taken with the Pentax

Well then just amend my post to say so! Thats a pretty sharp picture from a camera that Ive only heard pretty negative things about.

As Kinnon said, only the 4th one that i posted here was with the pentax but in the set there are a few others. Usually i would be shooting RAW with both cameras but given that for the moment i am using a slightly less than capable laptop for my editing, i decided to chance it with JPEG. The k10d's jpegs arent as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Although i did drop the saturation and contrast down a notch and bumped up the sharpness. I still prefer the results from my 20D though.
