Just got my 40D the night before so still getting used to all the settings. It was 6:30 in the morning and about 45 degrees out at the ocean so i think that had something to do with the pictures coming out a little soft. Anyways, still got some good shots, will have more to come on the next shoot.

Sweet - about 18 years ago I was the 3rd owner of an all original 1936 Ford Woody. Owned it for 3 years and sold it.

You car sure looks sweet - I hope someday to pick up a Town & Country convertible.

It's not my car. It belongs to my friends Father. They've had it for the last 10 years and almost everything on it is original.

Great light & some very nice shots, but "It was 6:30 in the morning and about 45 degrees out at the ocean so i think that had something to do with the pictures coming out a little soft." just isn't going to work! If you didn't use a tripod, you should have bumped the ISO up.

# Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/13 second = 0.07692 second
# Lens F-Number/F-Stop = 32/10 = F3.20
# Exposure Program = aperture priority (3)
# ISO Speed Ratings = 160

Great motor, and light but the shots look a little soft to me.

The interior shot is a "WOW."

by the weather having an effect, i didnt mean on the camera... i meant on me!! this is SoCal, we're not used to having our hands frozen! I had to stop shooting every couple minutes to put my hands in my jacket and warm up, i couldnt keep them from shaking it was soo cold!

I think that's what he meant ;) BECAUSE it was cold, you should have bumped the ISO to compensate for the relatively slow shutter speed. Or alternately, use a tripod. :)

Either way, nice shots and awesome looking car. :D

we're not used to having our hands frozen! Wuss? It's 2 degrees here, so you'll get no sympathy from us! :D

Nice pics, Grant.

2 and 5 work best for me, but all the pictures seem to be over contrasted to me. For example, you lose a lot of detail in 1, 3, and 4.

+2 on cranking up the ISO. ;)
