Any comments would be appreciated.
What would you have done differently?
Canon 10D
EF 100-400L is w/ 2x extender
Shutter 1/15
F22
ISO 100
Slight contrast adjustment in PS Elements.

Hi, I went myself to the process of shoting the moon and doing some
postprocessing to improve the picture quality.
Here is an example of what you can do .
Do an unsharp mask ( amount=255, Radius=2.8 Threshold=0)
Then adjust levels ( move the right slider to the left from 255 to 217 and the middle slider to the right from 1 to 0.74)
Check the result.
Is it better than the original ?
Regards
Jose
PS: If you do the processing your original image it should be better because
I noticed you saved in low quality jpeg ( 4)

Thank you Jose, I applied your suggestions to the high res version and it's a completely different photo.
Thanks again.

Here is one I shot last night. Also posted over in the Share forum. No post processing. Right out of the camera RAW. My suggestion is to shoot at a larger aptature and faster shutter speed. I think your photo would come out clearer with a faster shutter speed because the moon is moving around the earth as you shoot and the blurriness in your photo is probably mostly motion blur.
