how do i create a single post?

i saw it othe day..i clicked on some guys link in his sig and it took me to a single post with all his lens info on it..how do i create a single post so no one can post on it..i think?

After you 'reply' to the thread just copy my link below, but obviously substitute your postcount # (mine is postcount=115, it is currently up to 979)

Look at your first post in this thread,
in the upper right hand side in the grey border there is a number #1,. click that..
That's the link to that one post instead of too this whole thread.
