My wife and I are going to apply for passports in the near future and I plan on taking the photos needed. One of the requirements for the photo is that it has to be able to withstand about 225 degrees F for mounting in the passport. I plan on printing the photos with an inkjet printer. Will the ink and paper stock take this sort of temperature?

ive printed a few passport photos for family members on a basic epson CX3810 all-in-one inkjet printer on glossy photo paper. had no problems with them not accepting the pictures. just make sure you have the dimensions of the face correct. the last one i did for my cousin and her bf, i guess i cropped it a bit much and they said it was too big

Why take a chance, this is definitely something even Walmart or Walgreens could handle - its not like its a wedding album. :p

FWIW - I did mine and the wife's, printed them @ CostCo and they turned out just fine.
