First day without rain for ages, and off to Parbold, Nr Wigan, England for the Ashurst Beacon Fell Race. I did take note of the comments on another forum about the Cross Country shots I took the other week and increased the ISO to get a faster shutter speed. Hopefully these are a little better.

Nice shots, looks there was a little bit of mud on the course. Well focused and movement stopped.
Did you wash the mud of yourself at the Windmill?
Parbold is a nice part of the world, well located for the Motorway and handy for Liverpool or Manchester.

I didn't see your other thread so I can't comment on any improvements that may have been made - but I can say WOW to these ones.

I am really impressed with these shots - I can see the feelings in the faces, the strain in the bodies...

VERY well captured (imho)
