Has anyone used Epson paper for the i9900? If so how did it work out and can you get epson paper ICC Profiles. I use the R300M and the 2200 which is all great but I want to try the Canon I9900.

I have the i9900 and used Epson, Canon and Ilford papers all with great results. The Epson and Canon papers are manufactured by the same company I believe (just that Canon paper costs more!). Both give great results. I recently came onto Ilford smooth pearl paper - very nice too. More like real photo paper. Can't go wrong with any of these papers nor the printer itself!

I've used Epson Enhanced Matte with the i9900 - very happy with the prints. I haven't worked with profiles yet (just got the printer last week).

What papers work best on the Canon i9900 printer? My plan was to stick with the Canon paper for now, and there are so many choices-Glossy Photo Paper, Matte Photo Paper, Photo Paper Plus Glossy, and Photo Paper Pro. Only the Proto Paper Pro and Matt Photo Paper come in the 13 x 19 size. I am interested in this size so I can combine some images and add a caption below for the title and signature, and possibly a border that will improve framing possibilities.

My Digital Rebel images will hold for 11" x 17", but I do not think they will hold their solution and detail if they are bigger. Has anyone tried this? What were your results? Good? Bad? Not worth the ink?

I am getting my i9900 this week (it was a very hard decision between the Epson 2200 or the Canon i9900), but after much thought and research I got the i9900. Part of this is based upon the fact that I own the Digital Rebel (purchased Nov. 2004) and the Canon 9950F scanner (purchased last week).

Where do you buy the Lumijet Imageshield? I checked with some online sources and could not find. I am assuming it is some type of spray on fixitive.
