View Full Version : Help needed - Thread sorting behavior?

All of a sudden, the threads seem to be sorting funny. For example, if I go to the Sell forum, the threads are NOT sorting in chronological order, as the always have (newest first). Once I open a thread in a forum, they sort correctly, but NOT in the forum itself. Same for any other forum.

YES, I have checked the User CP options, and have adjusted them around several times in an effort to get things back the way they were (newest first in each Forum) but no joy.

I am using Firefox 2.0.0.11 as a browser if that makes a difference?

Help please!

UPDATE - this behavior seems limited to the Marketplace forum and no other.

I can get it to sort correctly by clicking on LAST which gives me the desired V arrow.. but it won't stay that way.

The default sorting for all MarketPlace forums except for MarketWatch is by thread start. While you can choose to sort by last post it reverts to the default setting when you reload the page.

THis is all explained as part of the new Marketplace changes. Marketplace has been set that way as, among other things, the bumping was getting out of hand. As you've discovered, clicking on "Last Post" lets you see where bumping or real comment has been going on.
