Had seen and old post about Central OK photographers getting together. I love the idea of meeting, so here's a suggestion:
Meet on Saturday morning in Yale, OK. Maybe we meet for breakfast, shoot in the AM then meet for lunch? I know it's kind of corny, but it IS centrally located to Tulsa and OKC! And you know there's a great diner somewhere in Yale!
Battle of Round Mountain
Feb 15-17, 2008
Jim Thorpe Park, Yale, OK
Phone: 918-387-2815
A Civil War reenactment of The Battle of Round Mountain will be fought between the Confederate and Union armies in Payne County. This reenactment brings history alive as whites, blacks, and indians fought side by side on each side. Oklahoma historical help by talking to the public concerning this event. Friday school kids come and enjoy! Free admission for kids under 12 years old.
Projected Attendance: 1,400
Directions: Located off Hwy 51 E to Tulsa from Okla. City.
Event Contact: Lou Hensley
