I know I can simply crop images in Photoshop, but I'm wondering if there is a way to alter the dismensions of images directly in the camera settings. I can't find any...

I've noticed a person who I believe is doing this because every single one of their pictures is clearly not the standard height:width ratio.

Oh yeah, I'm using the EOS 300 Digital Rebel.

Hi Vaaaska,

the only way of doing this in camera (AFAIK) is by changing the size of jpg you are creating. This will still keep the same aspect ratio and you will be limited to the height and width specified for each of the different sized jpegs (with the rebel its 3072x2048 or 2048x1360 or 1536x1024). I would guess that the "other person" is cropping once the images are exported to pc/mac
