did you put a filter on it? if you did, i don't really like it, if not... why is the quality a little "grainy" ?

It's cos its a GIF RadAL. GIFs only consist of 256 colouring, hence the differing.

GIFs only consist of 256 colouring, Why a 200KB gif? A 200KB jpg would have looked better.
