is there a way of programing or a trick for having the histogram appear with the the variable time displayed image after taking a picture....or is it only a big toy option...lol

The moment it appears after you've taken the pic, hit the display button.
It will display the histogram in the same format it does when in review mode.

hi from g'day and hey....land thanks for the reply, but it aint workin....won't show up ...only works in replay mode....any other suggestion.....thanks

you are right....i have my cam on c1 or c2 most time....after replying your message i grab the cam again and realized that it work wonderfully except in these two settings.....thanks again for ur help ...regard from the soon to great white north....so far a great warm autumn the leaves have just started to change....the time for great walks in the Gatineau hills and picture takin....cheers

Cnandians really are such very friendly people!

To contrast your entry into winter we're having a very mild spring, with the exception of the South Island who have been having some troubles with a late snow.


I tried turning the histogram on and off in C1 and C2, and in mine it works.
I wonder if you need to save the settings with the histogram on, then you should be able to turn it on and off in shooting mode. :)

you are right again....i finally got on c1 and c2.....this is just like my very own little waveform monitor....i'm shure you are welcoming the fresh spring air and anything that is green .... we live on such a wondeful planet....here i am going to winter and you going to the opposite ....such a small planet but yet so big.....i haven't had the chance to travel your part of the world.....but from what i have seen and heard this place it quite a paradise.....i have work on a documentary unit for the cbc for over a decade,but my many travels haven't taken anywhere close to your country...since i have traded my many travel bags for a swivel chair in a tv-studio... i am working in broadcasting for cbc/newsworld live news coverage....i'm a senior tv.tech / camera,lighthing direct.,mixer,switcher.....has you can see multitasking is the way to survive in this business these days.....anyway i'm digressing....hope you have a wonderful spring and summer ....i will be sholveling snow to soon but fortunately skiing will make up for it....cheers..hlp
