I don't see many photo's of these guys on here...not sure why. I only got one shot of one perched on a branch a while ago and it's tough because they move quicker then the Red Breasted Nuthatch and they're a little bit smaller.

Here's the one I shot today...there were two of them but only one in this shot.

I have never seen these guys with brown heads. Nice shots.

Me either. Beautiful little guy. I'd love to see one. I get excited over a red breasted, I'd prolly faint if I saw one of these. :)

Neat bird. Love the action of these birds. I haven't seen a brown one either.

So you get them? I get the reds and the browns but have never seen a white...I think they're in my area during winter...one can only hope. :D

According the the books I'm suppose to have the Browns here but I've never seen one. The whites are here all year, this is the first year I've seen the reds.

I don't think I've seen a pic of this species posted here before. Great capture and thanks for sharing.
