Now that I have been using my G1 for a couple of months I have accumulated a large quantity of images.
What system do you fellow photogs recommend to both minimize the local storage space, and make retreival of images easy? (I have a ZIP drive but no CD writer.)
For example, I would like to retain a copy of the original unmodified image in some folder that I could go back to at a much later time and still find a long forgotten picture.
Also, do you generally shoot images in RAW ?
I have been happy with JPEG originals and have not as yet seen the advantage of starting with RAW. What am I missing?
I do have thumbs creation program which seems like a necessity . Any comments ,please.
