1. This location was sort of boring, so i thought id do a B&W conversation.

2. I think it lacks composition.

4. Blurred the busy background and adjusted the exposure for the blurred area, and then i livened up the red's to help bring it out more.

5. The sky was really dull and plain, so i played with the color and contrast, then burned the edges some. (also, way to much angle..)

CC appreciated.

Nice pics tomtomtuning, I think the first pic is ok, but bad location like you said.
the two pics with the SRT-4 by it self are great, I really like them.

Also did you blurried the background in photoshop? if yes do you use lens blurr? are you shoting in JPEG or RAW? I can't want to go out and start taking pics again, but here in new york its to cold and the camera doesn't work well in cold weather. Also share some Photoshop tricks with me, because I'm trying to get better at it and your really good at photoshop.

The only one i blurred was the 5th one. I originally used Lens blur, but went back and did it again using Gaussian blur. I shot in raw BTW.

Since i shoot in .raw, it opens the picture in Camera Raw. Here i try the Auto Settings for Temp and Exposure. Some times i like it some times i dont. Then i check the Tone Curve, Most of the time i can just change the Points to Strong contrast or leave it on medium, depends on the picture. I have recently been playing with Parametric, in the Tone Curve adjustment screen. Then i might give the picture a lens vignetting, that can be done in Camera Raw as well. Then i open the image and check the Levels and Curves. And usually just sharpen, resize, border and mark. But you can also get creative and do whatever else you might want to do. For instance, i played with the coloring and the contrast of the sky in the 4th picture, and then Blured the background in the 5th.

I have only been doing this for 3-4 weeks now. But i have become more comfortable with photoshop because of some books i picked up. They have helped so much.

Come ppl, give me some CC. LOL

The reflections in them look OK in 2 & 5.
A little more detail in the tires of 5 would be nice & I'd crop some off the top.
