Does anyone know if it is possible to do infrared photography with digital cameras? Are the CCDs sensitive to that wavelength? I've just ordered an s30, and am curious.

Yes, absolutely. I've seen many photo's posted here in infared.

Generally, yes. Some are more sensitive to IR than others; the G1 is reportedly very good.

I don't know about the S30's capabilities or sensitivities, but you'll need some way to attach an IR filter in front of the lens.
