These rumor threads seems to give a lot of folks a huge amount of satisfaction.

There must be truth in the adage that the journey is more enjoyable than the destination.

I can't wait either!!

Nah Anka, it's a fact, straight from my grandmother. God rest her soul.

Ya, your Granny was right.

I'm not even planning to buy a new body until Canon replaces the current sensor life cycle. (1Ds MK III samples look suspiciously similar to my 5D). But I really enjoy guessing what Canon and the others are going to do this year. We are already seeing some innovations in IQ from some makers.

Thanks go to Nikon and some of the 4th or 5th place makers for making the next two years far less predictable from the past two year. I bet Canon introduces some ambitious changes by the end of 2008!

Hopefully. Right now they're counting on good system and cheap FF. But that's legacy. Not good enough. Every other maker is head over heels in terms of camera features right now. They need to step up SOON or lose the market advantage to the aggressive competition

Ehh, rumours threads make the waiting for new announcements more fun... if only through laughing at people's ridiculous expectations at times :p
