I like the first two for the soft "artistic" feel, though i feel that the texture on the petals could have been captured better. :)

#1 looks great. nice luminance.
The next 3 are a bit under exposed in areas.
#5 is little blow out in the upper right hand side.
For a first attempt is excellent work...much better than my first.

Thanks guys. It was trickier than I thought it would be. Kinda went into it thinking there isn't much to it. :o

I like the luminance but had a hard time properly exposing the rest of the image. I suppose this is where a secontd light (even a work light) or a light box would be key? As you can tell I was holding my flash behind and off the to side of the flower for that look.. but it was hard to try and get ceiling bounce to fill it in from the other side....

I like the concept for No.1 but would prefer the radiant lines to ne sharp.

Great set of images here. :D I especially like no. 3 and 4 Really makes me long for spring/summer to arrive here in the mountains. :D
