From the department of Things I Never Knew . . .
I've "discovered" over the past few months that the mouse wheel significantly expands ease and functionality of interacting with computer applications - Photoshop representing a great case and point.

Perhaps I've missed it along the way, but I don't recall ever seeing this among "PS tips."
Perhaps my favorite is selecting a layer opacity option with the mouse cursor and then using the mouse wheel to dial through the different options.
