A few shots from the auction. Talk about a wicked collection of classic cars/trucks. Not the best place for taking photos...huge crowds...bad backgrounds...full on sun. But... this was more practice than anything. I haven't had a chance to put the new 24-70L to use. The lens was a blast to shoot...very wide on the 5D.

Nice shots, those cars most cost alot of money to buy. I watch the auction on TV (speed channel)

Nice pics! I was rather disappointed with this years auction, you can tell folks are being a little more stingy with their cash, even those that have 'extra'. Last year were LOTS of 1 mil+ cars and stuff. This year 'only' 3 IIRC. Still fun to see some B-E-A-utiful cars!

I was surprised at the prices of some of these cars... some went for more than I thought they would and others didn't pull the numbers as you mentioned. It was fun to see... I wish I had the cars...or the cash... LOL

Do you have any pics of the car in the backround of pic #2!? I think thats the 1st Corvette ZR1 that sold there for $1,000,000.00!! I would love to see if it is actually that car!
