I really had to adjust exposure because the white was blown out so to get the detail of the feathers I had to adjust it down a stop and then adjust fill light. Comments welcome

nice capture, I think its a cockatoo rather than a mccaw. you should be able to adjust the exposure comp to underexpose the bird and save the details. I noticed in your photo exif that your EC was set to +.33 , minus.33 would have been better.hope this helps.
