I really thought this one would go in less than an hour. It was pretty obvious it was more than likely at St Peter's (gold paint and all) and as significant as it is, i thought it would have more of a web presence. I did have a fair amount of trouble finding it myself though, and if I didn't know it was downstairs I'm not sure I would have found it. I didn't even realize when I was there that there was that much in that place. We were only there for probably around 1-1 1/2 hours, we only had about 6 hours i Rome total, so we just did some speed touristing. Didn't even know what most of the stuff we saw was.

Ha, I know what you mean. I didn't have to look for anything specific when I was on the site, so it was much less frustrating. Like I said, Iit would have probably taken a looooooong time for me to find it if I didn't know pretty much exactly where it was, or at least that it was in the Grottoes. Can you see it now?
I think what might have happened was that this has been one of my "candidate" WAIN pictures for a while now, and it has been sitting in my SmugMug gallery with a privacy tag enables do that visitors to the gallery do not see it. When I linked to it for the game, I forgot to unset the privacy tag. So I could see it, but apparently other people were prevented from seeing it, even via a remote link as well as when browsing the gallery.
