There was just a feeling about the pic, the buildings in the background, the strange crane thing. I looked for the boats first of all (they were moored differently from most other boats in Stockholm..that I seen anyway) and after about 45 seconds I got it. :)

The cars. Partly it's the 1st generation RX-7, but mostly its a 1980's-looking american car with what appears to be a fully-intact and rust-free chrome bumper. Of course, that california air might have a preservative effect on such things, but I doubt a californian would want to be seen even in a perfectly preserved example of such a fine machine.

I presume the fire sprinkler installs on the ceiling were required in the late 90s early 00s, but if the photo was taken 15years ago, the building owner probably did it to bring their insurance $$ down...
