LOL -- Well I am on the boardwalk and it's really all I was looking for in an answer. The place is the Surf Side Bar aka the Biker Bar aka Loretta's aka My favorite hang out joint :-) (easily found via flickr with "Carolina Beach" bar)

Over to you Derek! Oh and I'm heading there now -- you all have a good night!

I'm still claiming this one. Have fun tonight Monty! Say hi to Karaoke Mike for me. I didn't even think of that as being a bar, was thinking convenience store or beach shop.

Of course it'll be Maidenhead! Tom seems to be labouring under the misapprehension that it is possible to travel around the UK when it's snowing. Tom, you need to be aware that that's simply not possible. A few years ago (January 2003), south-east England virtually ground to a halt because there had been about 3 inches of snow during the afternoon rush-hour. People were swapping stories about how their 5-mile journey took 16 hours.

This was the scene at Maidenhead station on 8th Feb 2007. This is my 14th "winter" living in Maidenhead, and that day we had the deepest snowfall we've had in that entire time - 11cm (4.5 inches)!!

Your turn Roy.
