Well, I just got my new digicam in the mail today - the Canon S500 Digital Elph.
Being that this is my 3rd Digital Elph, I know my way around the menus and functions.
My questions are as follows...
01: Continuous Shooting - this is my favorite "extra" function. Unfortunately for some reason it is not working. There is a 7 second gap between pics (using high-speed Canon flash card). This is entirely too slow, as I can take them manually quicker. The user guide says it takes 2.2 frames per second... which is somewhat what I'm used to. Is there something I am missing?
02: For some reason when I record movies in the 640x480 setting, it only records 30 second clips. I have tried with a 64MB flash card and a 32MB flash card, both to no avail. Is there something I am missing? (EDIT) - it is supposed to take 180 second clips, no matter the size setting.
03: I see that there is now regular flash, high-speed flash, and ultra flash. Would I be wasting money on purchasing a high-speed or ultra flash card?
I am emailing the Canon corporation for the first two questions, but it could be like 2-3 weeks before I get a response. Any and all help that you could offer me would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
