I am looking at getting a good portable location background setup, Right now I do most sports figures such as boxing/mma so I want something that I can get to 10' height if I need it and will handle posing 2 people facing off. I want something sturdy, easy to setup, and will fit in my Scion tc. I will probålby use black, white and chroma paper, and one or two muslim. I don't have lots of $$, but want something that will last. HELP. Thanks

What about this one? Seems awfully reasonably priced.

I have had my eye on the Photoflex ProDuty one. From those that I have owned and looked at, this one seems to be the best and is the next one I will try. I am tired of the cheap flimsy ones everyone else seems to sell.

Thanks Ben...I just got off the phone with Calumet and think I will go with their pro model it is relatively inexpensive looks pretty rugged and goes 12' x 12' and has nice carrying bag.

You may want to consider cloth versus paper for the background. Paper comes in 53" and 107" from most vendors. The 53" will likely be too narrow for the face off shots you mentioned, and the 107" will not fit in the Scion.
The Pro backdrop stands you mention are very well built. I bought a set back before they provided the bag (1999), and they are still going strong.

thanks Elwood. That is what the salesperson said, so I am going to get a black 10'ft x24 foot muslim I think. Thanks for in the input.

UPDATE:
Just want to share...My Calumet HD Background Support and Muslin arrived late yesterday (ordered it late Tuesday, and it was shipped ground!) and I just put it together and am VERY impressed! It is very substantial and the 12' height is incredible, the crossbars are easy to assemble and the carrying bag is really constructed well. I am so glad I ordered this one. The best thing...it was on sale for $139 (usually $177 I think).
