I tried the Focus Magic plug in that someone else recommended. There were people wanting to see some samples.
I found that it works great on shots that are a little out of focus - the ones that look sort of kind of OKish when viewed at normal resolution, but are clearly blurred when viewed in "Actual Pixels" mode. I have not tried a profoundly out of focus shot. EDIT: (I have now tried it on more out of focus shots, and it will rescue more shots than any method I have tried. I find that it's limit is about a 7 pixel blur.)
Below is a shot that I took in Stuttgart of some street musicians. I love the expression in this shot, but I hate the *just missed* focus.

Below is an untouched 100% crop of the face showin both out of focus blur, and a little motion blur on his nose.

Below is the best that I could get with Photoshop CS's UnSharpen Mask

Below is the best I could get with Fred Miranda's Intellesharpen (Which has been replaced with an updated version. Dont know if the sharpening engine has been updated, or if the changes are cosmetic.) http://www.fredmiranda.com/actions

Below is the best that I could get with Focus Magic. I did both a Motion Blur Correction, as well as an Out of Focus Correction and I am very pleased with the results. I am particularly happy with the sharpness around the iris of his right eye, and the ghost on the bridge of the nose is gone. I may even end up softening this a bit, but at least I have a sharp image to work with. I bought it.http://www.focusmagic.com/
