How are these; anyone use them? It's hard to find information about them, but what little information there is appears to be possitive.

I'm looking for a ND filter I can use w/ my B+W screw in polarizer. I kind of dont want to get a screw in ND because of vingetting issues at the wide end when using both filters. I was thinking of getting a filter that fits my Cokin P holder and then just hand holding it when I use it w/ the polarizer.

Would a three stop (0.9) be good for the milking of waterfalls and and streams on a sunny day? Remember I have the polarizer that will give me another 1-2 stop reduction. I want a filter that will be usefull by itself as well as with the polarizer.

B&H has them for thirty five bucks which appears to be the lowest price.

I use the GNDs from Hitech, which are very nice filters. I've even handheld them before, with a polarizer and ND filter! So yeah, go for it (I assume you'll be using a tripod?)

Thanks Tim,

I was almost hoping they were crap; guess I'm going to be ordering more stuff!

Where did you get yours, can they be had at a price better than B&H's?

I see you have a B+W polarizer and ND. Ever used them stacked before? If so at what focal length do you start to get vingetting?

I'm using a Cokin P holder (w/ HiTech NDGrads) and B+W Circ pol (threaded front) when stacking them.

I use HITECH ND's and they are a thumb's up from me.

I use a cokin 3 filter holder and a cokin polariser that fits into it on top of a screw in UV filter. I can fill the holder and it only starts to vignette under 12mm on my siggy 10-20. I brought another cheap cokin 3 filter holder off eaby and butchered it into a 1 filter holder and get no vignetting on that at all.

No they aren't crap, never used any of the REALLY nice ones like Singh Ray or Lee.

When I stacked the CPL, ND and handheld the GND, I got a little vignetting @ 24mm on a 5D.

Thanks everyone, I got my order in for a 0.9 ND filter (non-graduated). I can't wait to get the filter and head up into the mountains.
