Last night I was on my way to a managment seminar in DTC so I brought my camera along to take some random shots. I found these benches somewhat interesting before the seminar around the side of the building (everyone was standing around the corner and didn't even know they were there hence all the snow on them).

And on my way home I stopped by this building too that I have always liked. It is right by Coors Amphitheatre and I've always seen it after concerts and wanted to get a night shot of it when the blue light comes on...

Tell me what you think guys.

Those are great images. No if, ands, or buts.

I've got a xti and I've never taken a shot like that.

Did you do tone mapping or what?

I'm still very new to this... PP is not something I know much if anything about. Care to explain tone mapping? I just adjusted a few little things like contrast, white balance, crop, and such. I used DPP to automatically do the RGB tone curves.

Thanks for the comment Chauncey!

The snow is quite underexposed (using the default camera settings will do this). I set my exposure from +2/3 to +1 1/3 to deal with predominently white scenes.

How's this?

LeuceDeuce. I like that shot a lot better. Thanks for the insight.
