Do redtails pair for life..?

Don't know if this is normal either?? I've seen other birds do it but never noticed birds of pray doing the one leg stand before.

And finally they got tired of us...

How do you guys have IS set when you're trying to catch a bird in flight, and is the AI Servo worth it..?

Didn't know if I should have the IS set to position 2 for panning on an inflight bird or not..?

Hi Jason, you were fortunate to get close to two Red tails. Hopefully you'll see them again. For birds in flight I always use AI servo. You should leave the IS on position one. Position two as you noted is for panning, but even while panning birds there is still a lot of vertical camera movement. I only use position two when the camera is mounted on a tripod.

I've got two what appear to be different pairs located, always in the same area and usually within eyesight of eachother, are they in fact paired up..??

Thanks for the info on AI and IS....
