I've heard a rumour that there's going to be some F1 testing at Silversone shortly, unfortunately I can't confirm or deny this......has anyone got the inside track on information regarding any F1 testing in the UK or at Silversone and when will it be.....I've failed in my attempts so far to come up with anything solid and would appreciate any helpful info.....Peter

June is the only date I've seen. I'm not sure how cold weather testing at Silverstone would be benificial.

It would be cheaper than the GP experience

A great deal. I keep meaning to go to the test day, but I never find the time to do it.

If testing in the UK is a definite, I'll PM you with the details....still living in hope.. As £300+ for GP grandstand weekend (when I only paid £160 grandstand weekend in OZ for Melbourne last year) seems like a ripoff too me....if not....the superbikes.....

I'd never pay to go to a race meet like that. To sit all day in a grandstand watching cars go past the same piece of track? Not for me - it's better on the TV.
I usually like watching something small like the Fiesta series - at least you get pretty close to trackside and get some decent shots without needing media acrediation.
