Hi there everybody. I have been reading here for a little while, trying to learn, but this is my first photo posting. I have been amazed by the pictures that you guys are able to produce on a regular basis.

I took this little guy this morning in the woods behind my house. He had just caught his breakfast. Looks like he could use some grits to go with it though. Oh well, please let me know what you think. I know that I have a lot to learn.

Thank you for your your comments. There was a lot of dew on everything. Here is another shot that is a little larger. This little guy was a sort of camera shy, or he was afraid I was going to steal his breakfast. Anyway, he wasn't much on posing.

Off to a fine start Terry, nice looking orb weaver. These type tend to be a bit more shier than their brethren from my experience. I'd say it's a female as well, males of this type are generally very tiny, no more than 3mm or so in size from my experiences.
