Well, it has finally happened. I got my new equipment last night. No postable images yet, as I am still learning and testing and setting up, but I should have some for next week, as I will be out shooting all weekend.
Here is the list of stuff (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=43971)
I have added the Canon Speedlight IR Transmitter.
This is too cool... These cameras are amazing.

Congratulations. You and your wife deserve it. :D
What are you mainly going to shoot ? I was a looking at your list and was thinking you were a little short on the tele side. I would have thought so at least, but if you're not shooting much sports or wildlife then the 70-200 would be long enough for most things I think.

I will be doing some sports, but to the tune of kids' soccer. I shoot mostly outdoors, nature and small-scale landscapes. I also enjoy stock photography and such. I also do some astrophotography, which I will do more of now, and the 200 with the 2x tele extender will do well for some wide field views, and I can always attache the camera to the 2500mm telescope.
I still want the 400mm L, but that will have to wait. My wife said I have to buy that with the money I should now start making with what I currently have. Her words, not mine. I am not complaining.
I am looking forward to getting out there and using this stuff... It has been a long time comming. I will get some images up when I get a chance do do something other than test shots.
