When i try to change the custom functions on my camera my computer pops a screen up that says "Communication error" and the whole program shuts down. This happens as soon as i push "apply" or "ok".

Any ideas???

It could be a Firewire problem.

Check your Windows installation - are you using XP??

I have no problem with my 1DMkII.
