Just came into a little disposible money, a rarerity at best, and am about to do something foolish, at least in the eyes of those who don't understand our hobby. :P :P
Am about to replace my G3 for a DSLR and am torn, I can easily afford the drebel 300 and can stretch to the 10D, no way can I attain the 20D level. the lenses I thought about getting for either one I chose was the Canon EF 28-90 f3.5-5.6 and the Canon 75-300 USM III, now if I went with the 300D I might up the lenses or get a bigger flash card. all of this fits in my budget (barely)
Any suggestions in helping me make up my mind would be of great help

Sandy:
As far as the camera goes, it's your decision. Both the rebel and the 10D are great cameras (if you want a QCD, AI servo and 3fps, then get the 10D, otherwise go with the rebel).
As far as lenses, I can't give you any advice on the 28-90, but if you are thinking about the 75-300 IS, then I suggest you considder the 7-200 f/4 L, they're quite close in price and the L lens is a lot better in all aspects.
Good luck with your purchase!
Hey how about the 1DsMKII? Have you taken that into consideration?

Ok you can make the 300D plus 2 lens. What is the cost of those 2 lens. Could you instead get the 20D Kit. That 18-35 isn't really too bad to start with and the 20 should be with you for years!
Just my devilish thoughts :?

well I'm looking at about $1,050 at B&H for the 300D (kit + 75-300)
and for the 10D $1,416 with above lenses from Buydig.com and $1,444 from B&H and at that's it's really going to stretch the ole budget.
the best I can do with the 20D $1,599.95 from buydig, that extra $200 is a killer close to $600 if I go from the 300D
