Very nice. I really like #1 and #6. #2 suffers a bit from the foreground switch stand, but a nice shot otherwise.

Yeah I know, the switch stand is actually on the opposite side of Manistee Lake (not pictured). I want to get the train coming in the opposite direction so the switch stand doesn't obstruct the train.

Yeah I didn't set my settings according to being zoomed in and a moving train in low light. The crossing looks neat as it's kind of in a tunnel of trees.

Nice series. How far did you chase it?

Only about 20 miles, just south of the little village of Fountain.

#1 and #3 are pretty good....#7 is just a touch off....or it would be an excellent shot.
