Great to hear. I was thinking about the kit on the link I sent or getting a Alien Bee flash with a softbox for now. The price ends up about $500 so I was not sure which one to go with. I kinda want the constant light source for now since I am a beginner at this.

I have purchased many items (softboxes, tripods, and heads) from Amvona (via. ebay) and find them to be good 'value' buy. I have had issues with stitching on softboxes, tip falling off the softbox rod, the 'Amvona' insigna popped off my pistol-grip tripod head, etc., but these conditions were rectified with some sewing thread and gorilla glue. I have attempted to contact Amvona through their designated 'Get Help' link on a handful of ocassions but have only received 'one' response to date. As long as you don't mind a bit of 'DIY' maintainance and little or no support, you should be content with their products. I can live with the deficiencies of the products because of the low prices that I have paid for them (a cheap solution to get most photogs started).
