I'd like to take my retouching to a higher level, so I'd like to get some material to work on and start a retouching portfolio. Pm, or reply to this thread for more info. Thanks

I think I'd prefer people, but I'd like to try all sorts of retouching of course.

can you knock out products?
By that I mean cut out products so the background is all white.

it really depends on the specific photo, but I think so.

I PMed David last night with a request to remove a large, obstructing light pole (base and all) from a photo that I was having trouble with. Today we got together on it, I emailed him the file, and he went to work. When I logged back on shortly I already had an email saying he was FINISHED! What? I was surprised. I opened the file, and much to my surprise... he WAS finished. Wow... and great work as well!
Below are the before and after shots.
David... man, I hope this helps your portfolio. Great work! I tried once before and was able to remove a little bit of the pole, but not all of it. When you were finished, I couldn't tell it had ever been there.

I am in need of an exact cut out of an image of a basketball. If I get you an image of a basketball, can you remove everything around it so that it is a plain basketball taht I can use for placing in another photo?

This guy is good, clean, and quality. Very fast at getting work back to you also. I had him remove everything around a couple of basketballs so I could use them in another image, they look great.

Hi David,
Nice work.
Are you still looking for work?
I have two images that I would like the background extended. 3 girls jumping at a portrait session. Unfortunately, I had to shoot it wide angle so the area to the edge of the background is in shot.
Could you "extend the background" at each side of the girls?
Once complete I would be happy for you to also retain a before & after shot for your folio.
Cheers
Allan

There is a guy in another thread that needs several hundred dollars worth of work done for about 50 bucks! LOL.
Here he is:

He is "desperate" and it would be a good way to get "retouching" photos of people (looks like senior portraits).

I think you take very nice pictures, and would love if you retouched my photos.
Just visit my Flickr and pick anything, contact me, and I will send you a link to full resolution. I would like a full resolution retouched image sent back to me without a watermark, and rights to use the photo however I want.
Cheers!
