S30 Hatted It!

I have taken alot of pictures in my life, and this camera sucks at taking indoor pictures. My old Olympus 35MM kicks butt over this camera. Shall we weight this out "Quality pictures or convenience” You decide.

I've had no problem taking indoor pictures with my S30. What settings are you using? Perhaps someone here can offer tips or techniques to improve your pictures. Your earlier posts indicate that you were having some problems with backlighting, but you haven't said anything since.

I had a friend who hated his Jaguar. Didn't really know how to use it or appreciate it. Hmmm. I've had absolutely no problem with my S30 with indoor and outdoor shots, at least none of the camera nature; more of the operator nature. The learning curve is a bit more than a point-and-shoot camera, but the results are great. I haven't done any side by side comparisons with the S30 and my Olympus OM-1 and various lenses, but I'm hedging the S30 will be competitive. The discussion of 35MM versus digital rages on.
