Need a Event Photogapher at Melbourne, Australia

Hi Guys, I'll be visiting Melbourne by April 1st week for meeting and proposing my Girl Friend and would like to hire a Event Photographer to make the sweet moments memorable and would like both of us to be in the pic's so is why I decided to hire a Event Photographer. I have planned up for a Hot Air Balloon trip too and a trip to the Great Ocean Road. I am unaware of the Event Photographers at Melbourne. Can you guys please guide me in the right way how to pick a Ev. Photographer and from which Studios at Melbourne and also please tell me In which way do they charge and can you tell me the approx. reasonable charges.

Your help can be a lot of motivation to me! Thanks a ton in advance guys!

Also - I did a photoshoot for a surprise proposal in a hot air balloon last year here in Canberra. She had no idea the flight was booked as a 'champagne' flight - she just thought she was going for a balloon ride. We were all prepared and 'in the know' - it was a magic moment - I really hope yours works out that well.

May I suggest you make reference to April Fools Day? Are you familiar with that term?

There is a risk some people would not take your request seriously , which would be a real shame for you.

There is another Photography Forum that is primarily Australian based:

It is more "beginner" orientated and much less activity than this site but majority of members are Australian.

Well I'm much aware of the Day you have specified, and I 'm in no way going to be a fool!;)
I just dropped in my word at this forums so that I can get to know about the prices and charges.
I'm damn serious about my trip, and I won't like anyone making fun of it or commenting about it.
