I've really enjoyed all the books Bryan Peterson has written (Understanding Exposure, Learning to See Creatively and Beyond Portraiture). The photos in his portfolio section of his website (www.bryanfpeterson.com) are awesome.

However, I don't know much about his online photography courses. Has anyone given them a try and have any feedback?

Hundreds of dollars for an online class that lasts only a few weeks??????

I've been thinking about this as well, in fact I was talking about it with my wife this morning. It works out to abot $45 a lesson/week - you get the lesson, an assignment, and then a critical review of your submissions. You can also ask questions by email to Bryan or his co-instructor (can't remember his name right now).

I'm also very curious if anyone else has done any of these courses, and has feedback.

I did the http://proudphotography.com/
online for $80. Still taking it. I would not do it again. Just seems lacking. Yes they do critical review of each shot you do but it just not personal enough.

Thanks for the reply. I question how much more personal Peterson's courses would be ... probably not much.

Given how popular Peterson's books are, I'm surprised there are some folk on POTN who have tried them. ...maybe cuz he seems to shoot with Nionks?
