The main change is the flash slideshow on the main page.
What do you think (looks, speed, ease) ?

For the most part, I liked your site. You've got some great pictures on there. I'm not a fan of anything forcing me to wait such as the transitions, and the galleries take me to one picture, but I'd rather see a list of them so that I can quickly view the picture that I want instead of clicking through a bunch.
If you'd like an example of what I'm talking about, take a look at my gallery site. Click on any of the category pages, and you'll quickly see 15 thumbnails with pages to the next 15 and so on. Then if you want to see a bigger version, click an image.

Thanks for the suggestiobs Brian.
I totally agree with you about the images... I've had people telling me that. I've done it like this so far because it;s easy to use, but I'm looking for some other way to publish my photos (with thumbnails this time). I'm thinking flash...

Chris, I have to agree with Brian.
To have to go through all images one by one is a bit annoying. And if You don't go through all in one go You have to start over on next vist.
Why flash to display the photos?

Flash is good because you can't right click and 'save as' on the images so it makes it a little harder to steal pictures. Of course, you can still have your pictures stolen via a screenshot, but with flash, it's also easy to add a layer for a copyright watermark.
The downside to flash is that spiders can't index it, so you won't get as much search engine traffic.

well you can't right click and save as on my website anyway..
I don't just want flash to display the photos, I want to make my entire website in flash (for better presentation).

Right click disabled javascript doesn't help much though. You can still always view the html source and see where the image is being called from, then just load the image directly. To avoid this, you'd need to write the image via php or some other server-side language, and then in the code, you'd have to make sure it was being called from the right webpage rather than directly (using the referer environment variable).

I know, the way around it is very easy, but if someone REALLY wants to steal my pic they will do it anyway.

Yes so why even bother disabling right click etc?
