uploading from Canon Powershot

I use a Canon Powershot SD850IS.
My problem is that I recently updated to Vista on my computer and now I can't upload pics or movies to my computer.
Does anyone have a solution or work-around?

Vista should see the camera. Try to connect it using USB. Power on the camera. If windows does not see it go to Windows Update (leave the camera on and connected) and windows should find it. That is what I did with my SD950IS and it worked. Hope this helps.

Canon may also have an update for that model.

Thanks - I tried the windows update approach but it didn't work. It's interesting because I hear the sound of the camera making the connection but the Canon Zoom Browser doesn't open nor can it make connection to the camera.

Try going to Canon's website (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ProductCatIndexAct&fcategoryid=113) and looking for downloads for your camera.
