Anyone with a decent 580EX II is not going to sell it. I suggest you buy a new one (Ebay?). You won't regret it. It's fabulous.............. and get yourself a decent set of NiMh batteries and charger (Ansmann) whilst you're at it.

If you have a 40D, why skimp on the flash and batteries. Go for the best, not the second best.

thanks for the reply Fotoflyer, i had someone offering me one for 300 plus shipping. but i didnt reply fast enough and sold it.. was like new i guess.

i can pick up a new one for 339.99 i think from B&H plus shipping.. so thats the route i'll probably end up going. 580EX II's on ebay are to much... dont seem to see any for any less then 359 or so.
