CS2-action for restoring old photos

Dear friends of photography:

Does anyone know of a specific action in Photoshop CS2 for fixing up old damaged (sometimes) photos? Links to relevant site would be appreciated.:)

If you posted some of the old/damaged photos, that would be helpful to your thread.

Depending upon the amount of damage and time you have to repair it, it could be worth investing in professional services for restoration.

BTW, if you post photos here, you may find POTN members who will restore them and tell you what steps they took.
