Sorry but this doesn't work for me, I'm not sure what the subject is, it's quite dark, grainy, and half blurred, and the seats/window frame of the picture just doesn't work.

yeah...same here..I thought noir described old crime dramas with sexual overtones...guess it could mean more, but the title threw me off.

the out of focus blurry foreground kills this. It you used a DOF that keeps everything crisp it would work better.

I think the point has been missed here.... maybe glowie wasn't headed for a "film noir" thing and just maybe was painting a dark mood, emotion ..... it may technically not work for most.... but take a longer look at the image..... sit in the seat.... be there ....
