I did a quick shot with my DIY ring light (http://www.flickr.com/photos/atomick/2069055169/in/set-72157594513402342/) and a pair of SB's shot into silver umbrellas as rim lights. I've never used silver brollies before, but knew they'd give a more detailed, harsh effect - just thought the results were interesting. Really just wanted to find out what kind of detail would reveal/pop out. Easy to see why Jill Greenberg loves silver umbrellas and reflectors... :)
