My first try at taking a night photo of a building.

It's a beautiful building but the shot looks blurry. Did you use a tripod?

Also, I like the interesting curves in the railing, but the floor is so much brighter than everything else that it distracts the eye.

It also looks like you cut off one of the towers on the building. That's unfortunate.

Great subject though. Thanks for posting!

You are brighter and more courageous than I. I have have yet to shoot at night! So for effort and delivery you get A +.

But, I am not sure that your forground patio and fence-wall photographicaly synergize your subject. What do you think?

What would you differently say tomrrow nite ? Or, what would the ideal and similar subject offer that you were not offered here?

If you get another chance to take a shot like this, use a tripod, or do what I end up doing a lot and rest the camera on a railing (like the one we see in the foreground). That will eliminate a most of the camera movement during the shot, giving you a sharper picture.

Keep shooting night shots, it is a lot of fun!

I did not use a tripod unfortunately. It was a hand held shot. I couldn't see the blurry parts coz the display screen is small....but once I downloaded it, I saw it . :( Oh well....I'll try and use a stable surface the next time

Keep it going. I used a couple of bank notes and coins as a tripod making this one of the King Hassan Mosque in Cassablanca.
Since then I have bought 2 small tripods that go everywhere where I go (well, almost).
